Midwest Roundup - Week 8

The 2017 season is about to be wrapped up. It’s always hard to believe how quickly September and October pass and the post season suddenly appears just around the corner!

Kentucky

Transylvania (13-1-0 / 6-1-0) bounced back this week from their first loss of the season and won two games shutting out both Franklin, 5-0, and Anderson, 1-0. Senior midfielder Riley Calhoon continues to lead the HCAC in both goals (13) and points (27) this season. The Pioneers remain in a three-way tie with Hanover and Rose-Hulman at the top of the HCAC.

Indiana

Hanover (11-4-0 / 6-1-0) won their matches against Earlham, 1-0, and Defiance, 3-2. The Hanover Panthers will look to keep pace atop the HCAC standings when the team hosts Mount St. Joseph this Wednesday.

Rose-Hulman (11-4-1 / 6-1-0) improved their winning streak to six games this past week. The Engineers defeated Mount St. Joseph, 3-1. They also shut out Bluffton, 1-0, their eighth shutout this season. Rose-Hulman will play Franklin this Wednesday in hopes of securing the HCAC top seed.

Ohio

Kenyon (12-2-2 / 7-0-0) continues unblemished in the NCAC with their seventh conference victory. The Lords earned a big win against [read more]
