NAC Men's Soccer Championship Seeding Announced

Husson University earned the top seed in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Championship. The Eagles (10-6-1 overall, 8-1 NAC) will take on eighth-seeded Lyndon State College (6-10-1 overall, 3-5-1 NAC) in a quarterfinal game on Sunday at 2 pm.

Castleton State College earned the second seed, finishing the season 10-5-2 overall, 7-1-1 NAC. The Spartans will host Colby-Sawyer College (5-11-1 overall, 3-5-1 NAC) which earned the seventh seed in quarterfinal action Sunday at 1 pm.

Third-seeded University of Maine at Farmington (8-7 overall, 6-3 NAC) will host sixth-seeded New England College (7-8-3 overall, 3-3-3 NAC) Sunday at 2 pm, while defending champion and fourth-seeded Thomas College (10-6 overall, 5-4 NAC) hosts fifth seed Maine Maritime (8-4-3, 4-3-2 NAC) in the final quarterfinal match-up Sunday at 1 pm.

The top eight teams qualify for the NAC Championship. Predetermined tiebreaking procedures were used to seed teams with identical conference winning percentages.

Quarterfinal round games will be played on Sunday, October 30 at the higher seed. Winners will advance to the semifinals held at the higher seed on Wednesday, November 2. Semifinal winners will meet Saturday, November 5 at the highest remaining seed.

Game times and dates are subject to change. The NAC Champion receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship.
