2011 NAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Announced
Thomas College sophomore forward Michael Hand has been selected the 2011 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Year in a vote of the league's coaches. Hand posted a league-leading 10 goals in conference play.
Castleton's senior defender Nick Johnas was named the NAC's top defender leading a Spartan defense that ranked second in conference play, allowing just six goals while contributing a pair of assists to the offense.
University of Maine at Farmington first-year midfielder Luiz Ristow was honored as the league's top rookie. Ristow scored five goals and handed out one assist from the midfield.
Husson Head Coach Jeff Gettler was honored by his peers as the league's top coach after piloting the Eagles to an 8-1-0 mark in conference play this season.
Johnson State garnered the league's Sportsmanship Award.
NAC all-conference selections are determined by a vote of the conference coaches.
